MOSCOW, Jul 4 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service has issued a warning to Google for imposing unprofitable contract terms on developers of mobile applications, the watchdog said on Monday in a statement.
The authority discovered that Google that owns and runs applications store Google Play forced the developers distributing pay applications via the platform to use Google’s pay system only.
“Google is to fulfil the warning within a month. Otherwise the service is authorized to open a case on violation of the antitrust law,” the statement read.
